Zach Bryan Uses Ticketmaster After Criticizing the Platform— The System is “Intentionally Broken”

Earlier this year, Zach Bryan took aim against Ticketmaster by dropping a surprise live album, All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster, in an effort to shine a light on the platform’s increasing ticket prices. Despite his critique, Bryan appears to be using the ticketing giant for his impending Quittin’ Time Tour.

“Everyone complained about AXS last year,” Bryan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Using all ticketing sites this year.

“All my homies still do hate Ticketmaster but hard to realize one guy can’t change the whole system,” he added. “It is intentionally broken and I’ll continue to feel absolutely horrible about the cost of tickets in an unfair market.”

Bryan then poked fun at the situation, telling fans to throw all their anger onto him while he is already bearing the brunt of backlash for exorbitant ticket prices.

“Whatever you’re pissed about tomorrow just blame me for it I’ll be in the thick of it throw it on while it counts,” he said in a separate post.

Many fans came to Bryan’s defense, applauding him for even trying to dismantle the ticketing platform.

“It is not your fault at all,” @satelIitefreak wrote in a reply to Bryan’s tweet. “You tried. and we love you for that.” Another fan, @kate_niicole, told Bryan that she would buy tickets no matter the price. “I’ll empty my bank account for tickets and feel no hate at all,” the user wrote.

Bryan originally punched back at Ticketmaster soon after the platform came under fire after the presale to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour fractured under the weight of her Swifties.

“Seems there is a massive issue with fair ticket prices to live shows lately,” Bryan shared at the time. “I have met kids at my shows who have paid upwards of four hundred bucks to be there and I’m done with it.

“I’ve decided to play a limited number of headline shows next year to which I’ve done all I can to make prices as cheap as possible and to prove to people tickets don’t have to cost $450 to see a good and honest show,” he continued. “To clarify, I am playing a few festivals which I have no control over. I believe working-class people should still be able to afford tickets to shows.”
