Even as a child, country music appeared to be part of Zach Top. Throughout his younger years, the rising star listened to greats like Randy Travis, George Strait, and Keith Whitley. He also performed in a bluegrass band with his family called Top String. Eventually finding his way to Nashville in 2021, Top hit the ground running, producing hits like “Sounds Like the Radio.” Taking over the airwaves, the singer recently celebrated a major milestone when he played for the largest crowd in his career, which almost ended in disaster.

While helming his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour, Top had no idea the size of his fanbase. With fans clamoring to get tickets, he took the stage for his first-ever stadium show at Rodeo Houston for a special performance. Soaking in the moment, the singer insisted, “Thank you all so much for coming out and supporting the great sport of rodeo and for loving country music. We are so glad to see you here and thank you for making us feel welcome.”
Shocked by how quickly his career took off since moving to Nashville, Top added, “This is by far in a way the biggest show we’ve ever played. I’ll tell you what, two years ago, we played in a little town called Dothan, Alabama, and I sold twelve tickets to our show. And in two years, it looks like this now? You gotta be kidding me?!”

Zach Top Not The Greatest On Horseback
Given that Top was performing at a rodeo, it only made sense he ended his time in the spotlight on horseback. With lights flashing and the crowd chanting, the country singer waved his hat as the horse took him around the stadium. The only problem, a security guard patrolling the area was almost taken out by the horse.
Paying attention to the crowd, it appeared Top never noticed the security guard as he came within inches of them. Thankfully, the guard slightly moved out of the way before making contact.
Adding another stellar performance to his career, Top is quickly becoming the face of country music as he pays tribute to the 90s era and those who helped bring the genre into the spotlight.
