The show broke from tradition initially because the America’s Got Talent finale fell on the same day as the second episode of The Voice. Now, though, the double episodes have returned, to the relief of many fans.
On last night’s episode, there were many surprises, including a four-chair turn. There have already been memorable performances during the first three episodes of the Blind Auditions, but a recent contestant has already become a fan favorite. The Voice fans have already named Jeremy Beloate their season 26 hopeful winner.
Jeremy performed Giveon’s “Heartbreak Anniversary,” earning himself a four-chair turn. Twitter users commented on his “veiled and mysterious” performance, and his “bright, brilliant falsetto.” Many named Jeremy their new favorite. Reba McEntire praised Jeremy’s “incredible” range and “great feeling and emotion,” while Michael Bublé claimed he has a “tremendous gift.”
