As the name implies, Perry’s upcoming tour promises to honor her entire career, from her little-known track on the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants soundtrack to her breakout hit “I Kissed a Girl” to the track that inspired her tour title, “LIFETIMES,” from her 2024 album 143.

Whether you’re an OG Perry fan or a recent bandwagon hopper, the pop star is planning a little something for everyone.

Katy Perry Says New “Lifetimes” Tour Will Be Like Disneyland

Katy Perry took inspiration for her 2025 “Lifetimes” tour from a track of the same name off her 2024 album 143. The song’s lyrics are an appropriate tribute to fans who have been following her career for years—for some, even decades. I’ll love you for life, lifetimes. I know you can feel it. Can you believe it? I’m gonna love you ‘til the end and then repeat it. And indeed, repeating it is just what Perry intends to do on this four-continent run.

“I always remember the audience is a hybrid of different types of people,” she told Rolling Stone. “It’s number one fans. And then it’s voyeurs. It’s people that only know me for one song and then people that know “Simple” [that Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants deep cut we were talking about earlier]. It’s such a smorgasbord. I have a responsibility to the audience to give them that singalong, to create that moment, and to bring out some nostalgia.”

What’s that nostalgia going to look like? “Like Disneyland on wheels, as it always is,” the pop star said. “A feast for the eyes and the ears. We’re giving BPM, we’re giving celebration, we’re giving unity, we’re giving dance.”

A Fun Way To Honor Years Of Artistic Output and Dedication

Katy Perry’s “Lifetimes” tour takes some pretty obvious cues from Taylor Swift’s monumental “Eras” tour, making us think that we are about to be in a golden age of touring where pop stars cater to every single fan at once instead of pushing a specific album. Similar to Swift’s live show setup, Perry is also taking the opportunity to dive deeper into her catalogue.

“I also have a responsibility to myself to stay true to my art,” Perry told Rolling Stone. “So, I’ll be introducing some new songs. And there will be a section that we have created for some songs that are the deepest cuts that have never seen the light of day.”

Fans can access pre-sale tickets starting on January 28 and 29, 2025. General admission tickets go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10 a.m. local time. Make sure you don’t wait a lifetime to snatch yours before they’re gone.
