1. Jadyn Cree Is ‘The Voice’ Royalty

If Jadyn Cree looks familiar to The Voice viewers, there’s a reason. Her father, Bryan Olesen, captivated audiences as a member of Team Legend during season 25. The Christian rock guitarist ultimately placed third behind winner Asher HaVon and runner-up Josh Sanders.

In fact, viewers got their first look at Jadyn during her dad’s audition, when the pair teamed up for an impromptu performance of Corinne Bailey Rae’s “Put Your Records On.” Now, the 24-year-old has established herself as a Voice legend in her own right.

Before the Top 5 was finalized, Bryan Olesen took to social media to reflect on his daughter’s incredible journey.

“You have carried yourself and represented yourself in such a beautiful way,” he said. “You know who you are, and who you are is beautiful.”

2. She’s Also In a Band

Long before The Voice viewers were familiar with the Olesen family, Jadyn Cree was following in her dad’s musical footsteps. She fronts the band AM/FM, performing ’80s covers alongside her all-male bandmates.

3. She Prefers Cats To Dogs

In a recent interview with Deepest Dream, Jadyn talked about her two cats and why she chose feline ownership over canine.

“I feel like with dogs, it’s like a dog’s always gonna be super excited to see you and love you no matter what,” she said. “When it’s a cat, you have to earn their trust and love. So it’s more special to me that they wanna be around me and love me so much.”
