Ann Wilson is sharing some good news with fans! Nearly three months after the Heart singer revealed she’d been diagnosed with cancer, Wilson took to social media on Wednesday to announce that she’s completed treatment.

“I’m doing absolutely fine now but it’s been, to put it mildly, a lot. Chemo is no joke,” Wilson wrote. “It takes a lot out of a person. And then that 2 weeks of waiting around for test results, a form of mental torture. For anyone who’s been through that, I empathize big time.”
Wilson then moved on to the good news, writing, “Luckily, for me, when the results finally came, they were the good kind! And so I’m excited to share with you that I’m now finished with chemo & I’m officially ready to get ready for the tour in 2025!”
“There’s maintenance going forward but I’m told the side effects are much less severe,” she added. “The worst is over & I’m thankful for the efficacy of this poison—but it’s more than welcome to get the f**k out of my body now.”
Wilson continued her post by noting, “I’m immensely grateful to everyone who prayed & sent me those good vibes. I’ve so felt your love.”
“My story has a happy ending due to in part to early detection. My advice? Get checked regularly,” she wrote. “I love you all & I’ll see you ver, very soon. There’s much to celebrate.”
Ann Wilson’s Health and Heart’s Canceled Tour
Wilson’s health journey first came to fans’ attention in May when Heart canceled their remaining tour dates in 2024. At the time, the band said the change was happening because Wilson was set to “undergo a time-sensitive but routine medical procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks.”
While Wilson told fans in a separate statement that she was “ok,” two months later she opened up more about her health. After undergoing her operation, Wilson said doctors discovered cancer and had advised her to undergo preventative chemotherapy.
“This is merely a pause,” she assured fans. “I’ve much more to sing.”
Indeed, in September, Wilson and Heart announced they’d be hitting the road in 2025 for their Royal Flush Tour. The tour kicks off on February 28 in Las Vegas and is plotted out through an April 5 show in Quebec City, Canada.
