Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Morgan Wallen Among Top Nominees for 2024 Pollstar Awards

The nominations have been announced for the 35th annual edition of the Pollstar Awards, which honor excellence in the touring industry. Among the big-name artists receiving nods are Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Drake, SZA, and Peso Pluma, who are all in the running for multiple major awards.

The awards will be handed out on February 7 during the 2024 Pollstar Live! Conference, which is scheduled for February 6-8 in Los Angeles at the Fairmont Century Plaza.

Beyoncé and her Renaissance World Tour lead all nominees with nods in three of the top categories, Major Tour of the Year, R&B Tour of the Year, and Pop Tour of the Year, while Swift, Sheeran, Combs, Wallen, and Drake also will be competing for the Major Tour award. The Eagles are nominated for Major Tour of the Year honors as well.

Swift and Sheeran also are in the running for the Pop Tour of the Year prize as are Coldplay, John Mayer, Jonas Brothers, and P!nk.

Not surprisingly, Combs, Wallen, Childers, and Bryan also will face off for the Pop Tour of the Year honor, along with fellow nominees Chris Stapleton and Shania Twain.

Drake will also vie for the Hip-Hop Tour of the Year prize, as will SZA, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and the triple bill of Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, and De La Soul.

SZA also will be up against Beyoncé in the R&B Tour of the Year category, as will Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, New Edition, The Weeknd, and the double bill of Lionel Richie and Earth Wind & Fire.

Peso Pluma’s multiple nominations come in the Latin Tour of the Year and New Headliner of the Year categories.

The other Latin Tour nominees are Carin Leon, Karol G, MANÁ, RBD, and the three acts of The Trilogy Tour—Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, and Pitbull.

Competing against Pluma for the New Headliner prize will be Childers and Bryan, as well as Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Noah Kahan.

Meanwhile, the artists nominated for the Rock Tour of the Year award are blink-182, Bruce Springsteen, Dead & Company, Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Paramore.

Among the other noteworthy Pollstar Awards honors is Residency of the Year, and the nominees include Billy Joel for his Madison Square Garden residency, and Adele, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, U2, and Usher, for their respective Las Vegas engagements.

Pollstar Awards also include categories honoring the top comedy tour, opening act, festivals, venues of various sizes, executives, booking agents and agencies, promoters, managers, production companies, and more.
