Releasing his first studio album, Aaron Watson – Singers and Songwriters, in 1999, the country singer never looked back as he spent the last few decades recording hit songs like “Outta Style.” Growing up in Amarillo, Texas, Watson appeared to embrace the lifestyle surrounding the Lone Star State. And throughout the years, he worked with fellow country legends like Willie Nelson, who inspired him as a kid. Having a deep knowledge of country music, Watson criticized newcomer Warren Zeiders for his outburst during a concert.

During a recent concert, Zeiders was dancing and singing around stage when he looked into the crowd. As phones were filming the moment, he noticed a person flashing him a heart symbol with their hands. Although a touching moment, behind that person was another individual who decided to flip the singer off. Not addressing that finger gesture at the time, Zeiders eventually made his way back around and had a few words for the person.
With the altercation making its way online, Zeiders told the fan, “You wanna flip me off again a**hole I’ll get you kicked out of the f***ing show. F*** me? F*** you, dude. I’m sorry your wife likes my f***ing show and you don’t.” Already making comments about the fan’s wife, the singer continued to berate the person, adding, “Yeah, suck my c*ck motherf**ker. Come to my show and you’re gonna flip me off, get the f*** out p**sy.”
Aaron Watson Warns Warren Zeiders About How Fast Fame Can Fade
While Zeiders appeared to use every word in the book, Watson wasn’t about the let the moment go unnoticed. Sharing a video of himself enjoying some popcorn, the singer offered Zeiders some blunt words. “What you did on the stage, in front of God and everybody, unprofessional. That fan down there in the crowd, he flipped you off. He basically held up a spoon. And Wilbur, you were up there on the stage in the spotlight and you whipped out a machete. You brought a machete to a spoon fight on one of your fans. And you look like the poster boy for Summer’s Eve, and they should put your face on the box.”
Having been part of country music for decades, Watson also warned Zeiders about how fast stardom can fade. “I’m going to tell you this Wilbur. I know you’re the biggest thing since sliced bread. But you won’t always be that. And remember that who you pass on the way up are the same people that you pass on the way down. And those fans, they’re solid gold.”
While wanting to impart some wisdom on Zeiders, only time will tell if the rising star will take the advice from a Texas legend.
