While Adele performed for countless people over the years, the singer received a special treat recently when she took the stage in Las Vegas. Fashioning a career in the music industry that watched her sell over 120 million albums and win numerous Grammy Awards, fans flocked to Las Vegas when she announced her residency. Although rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in music, Adele broke down when she came face to face with the iconic Celine Dion, who continuously showered the singer with praise.

Although knowing the feeling of having thousands watch you perform, Dion took a different approach when she sat amongst fans during Adele’s concert. Making her way around the crowd, Adele shared a special moment with Dion as she struggled not to break down. With both holding back tears, the two legendary singers embraced.
Sharing a picture of them together, Dion posted it on Instagram with the caption reading, “Adele, we are so grateful to you for welcoming me and my family back to the Colosseum for your amazing show! Your performance was spectacular, your production was so beautiful. We loved seeing you and hearing you sing…it was such an emotional night for us all.” Not stopping there, she continued, “Your music has had such an impact on my life, it is so important to me, especially over these last few years.”

Dion to Adele: “You’re in a Class by Yourself”
While receiving any sort of praise from Dion is enough to make an artist crumble, the hitmaker continued with her thoughts on Adele. She insisted, “I’m so happy for you, I wish for all your dreams to come true, for you to be doing what you want to do, for taking a little break. You’re in a class by yourself…and you deserve all the best! Thank you forever, Adele.”
Back in August, Adele shocked fans when she announced she would be taking a break from performing following her Las Vegas residency. At the time, she explained, “I have 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart.” Adele’s time in Las Vegas is set to conclude with one final show on November 23rd.
