Season 27 of The Voice is almost over. The Playoffs are right around the corner, and fans have several questions. Most are wondering who will take home the big prize at the finale. Those who are already looking forward to season 28 are likely curious who will sit in the big red chairs. Yesterday (April 23), Snoop Dogg confirmed that he will reclaim his coaching position.

Snoop Dogg was a fan favorite when he made his coaching debut in season 27. His team member, Jeremy Beloate, reached the finale and finished fifth overall in the competition. After winning over the audience and bonding with his fellow coaches, the rap icon stepped away from the show for a season.

There is no word on who he will replace, nor have his fellow season 28 coaches been announced.
Snoop Dogg Returns to The Voice, Inks Major Deal with NBC
The news of Snoop Dogg’s return to The Voice came with another, larger announcement. His Death Row Films has inked a four-year deal with NBC. Deadline reports that the deal will span “film, television, sports entertainment, and streaming.”
“Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home,” Snoop Dogg shared in a statement. “The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?” he added.
“Audiences around the world love Snoop and connect with his unparalleled showmanship and artistry,” NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios Chairman Donna Langley shared. “Those of us lucky enough to be in his orbit also know his incredible business acumen, endlessly creative spirit, and the unapologetic authenticity that he brings to every project. There’s only one Snoop, and we’re so excited for him to join our unbelievable roster of creative partners.”
Death Row Pictures is currently developing several projects, including a Snoop Dogg biopic.
