“It Scared the Hell Out of Me”: Megan Moroney Sets the Record Straight After Flipping off a Fan

Megan Moroney is more than okay with handling herself. During a recent concert in Birmingham, England, the 26-year-old country star flipped off a fan who was making a fuss.

The incident happened when Moroney was belting out her song, “28th of June.” In the middle of the ballad, an audience member threw a hat onto the stage, which nearly hit the singer.

Though Moroney expertly recovered and continued performing the song, she didn’t forget about the moment.

Later in the show, when Moroney was seated and performing “Hope You’re Happy,” she let the fan in question know how she felt by lifting her middle finger from the microphone she was holding. She didn’t miss a beat while making the gesture, and continued on with her set.

After a video of the moment was posted on TikTok with the title “Watch Megan Moroney Flip Off Birmingham Crowd,” Moroney took to the comment section to clarify who her middle finger was intended for.

“Weird way to title this vid & not include context,” she wrote. “A guy threw a hat at me & it scared the hell out of me. I gave a 🖕🏼when he was getting kicked out & continued to be obnoxious. Hope this helps!”
