The debate surrounding ghosts and whether they are real remained the center of several shows that claimed to have evidence of life after death. But for Lawrence, he didn’t need Ghost Hunters or Paranormal: Caught on Camera thanks to living it. Recalling once living in a house built on a cemetery, the singer explained how seeing ghosts became a normal occurrence. “I’ve been seeing ghosts my whole life.”

Lawrence even offered an example of what it was like to live with the gift or curse, depending on who you asked. “I was brushing my teeth, and footsteps ran across the attic above me. And so I climbed up in the attic, and there was nothing there.”

Tracy Lawrence Not The Only One Seeing Ghosts

Having more than enough stories about seeing ghosts, Lawrence decided to share another experience that left him without power. “And then another time, I stepped out and opened up the door and started hearing some creaking and cracking… the chandelier started swinging by itself, and then all the lights in it blew out.”

Looking at the comment section, some fans shared they also had the gift of seeing the paranormal, writing:

“When I was a teenager spending the night with my grandparents, I saw something. Everyone was asleep but I was up reading. Something looked into the room from the hallway. From the shoulders up is all I saw, and the face was black. They lived by Hobby Airport and always had the lights shining in. But that one spot stayed dark.”

“I keep the family Bible open to Psalms in front of a mirror.”

For one fan, they had a different interaction with ghosts, suggesting, “I had one too, Tracy! It killed our parakeet.”

With a gift for songwriting and seeing ghosts, Lawrence might have the right ingredients for a hit country song surrounding the paranormal.
