Jacksonville Shooter Reportedly Planned on Killing Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly Next

On Friday (August 25), the nation was shocked by the news of a heinous hate crime that took place in Jacksonville, Florida. That day, a man named Ryan Christopher Palmeter walked into a Dollar General and opened fire on three Black people named Joseph “AJ” Laguerre Jr., Angela Michelle Carr, and Jerrald Gallion, killing them instantly.

Palmeter would immediately fatally shoot himself, as he had left behind a few manifestos that motivated his crimes. On top of the prejudiced views noted, Palmeter also peculiarly wrote that he wanted to kill famed Caucasian rappers Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly, who famously feuded with one another a few years ago.

“Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Slim Shady a.k.a. Ken Keniff, a.k.a. the white guy from D12): Stared the abyss (being n*******y) and the abyss stared back (becoming a n****r),” Palmeter reportedly wrote. “Walks the edge of n****r lover and honorary n****r. Fell off not because his new stuff sucked but because the lyrics were gay annoying liberal shit. ROE for Total N****r Death is to include Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Slim Shady a.k.a. Ken Keniff, aka the white guy from D12) as a valid target and he is to be killed on sight.”

“Colson Baker (a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly): Honorable n****r. To be killed on sight like Eminem because I didn’t get a shot at him up in Ohio.”

Palmeter had previously undergone a mental evaluation in 2017 while he was a minor, “but he was not committed to a mental institution,” per Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters. When police arrived at the scene at the Dollar General, Palmeter was found wearing a tactical vest and a mask, while wielding a Glock and an assault rifle.
