Up first for Cree a spectacular cover of Selena Gomez’s “Lose You to Love Me.” Her second performance of the night was Dexys Midnight Runners’ “Come on Eileen.”
The Team Michael Bublé contestant did her coach proud with her performances, captivating the audience as she showed off her vocal skills.
While Cree’s performances were incredible, she’s facing stiff competition from the other finalists: Lucia Flores-Wiseman of Team Adam Levine, Jaelen Johnston of Team Kelsea Ballerini, RENZO of Team John Legend, and Adam David of Team Bublé.
Fans will have to wait until Tuesday to see if Cree’s time on stage was enough to crown her the next champion of The Voice.
Jadyn Cree’s Journey on The Voice
Cree auditioned for The Voice after her father, Bryan Olesen, competed on the show, coming in third place as part of Team Legend. This season, Olesen has been in the audience to cheer on his daughter, something she’s very much appreciated.
“I grew up watching my dad perform on stage and stuff and just seeing him be goofy and himself on stage. That kind of just helped me be fine with being goofy and silly on stage,” Cree told Deepest Dream. “It was definitely nice seeing him there.”
Now, with the experience coming to an end, Cree is excited about what the future holds.
“It’s definitely been fun. I’m excited for the lives,” she told the outlet. “I’m also sad for this experience to be coming to an end, but I’m definitely excited just to see where this all goes.”
