Jimmie Allen Accuser Stands by Video Evidence in Sexual Harassment Case

Months after country artist Jimmie Allen was accused of sexual assault by his former day-to-day manager in May, another unnamed woman, who alleges that he secretly filmed her during sex, is standing by her video evidence recorded on his phone. After Allen filed a countersuit claiming the second plaintiff stole his property, the Jane Doe accuser fired back, claiming it is “nothing more than harassment of a victim and abuse of the judicial process.”

The unnamed woman claims that Allen filmed their sexual encounter, which she did consent to at the time, and that she then took his phone when she left the hotel. “By taking his camera phone without permission,” wrote his lawyers, “Jane Doe 2 wrongfully exerted a distinct act of dominion over Allen’s personal property.”

In his own statement on the new filings, Allen said that he “engaged with a legal team to proceed with an appropriate course of action,” to “protect my reputation and refute these claims that have caused severe damage to my family, mental health, and business.”

Elizabeth Fegan, an attorney for both accusers, said that they expected Allen’s responses and that they can show the court “abundant evidence” that would “prove that Jimmie Allen is a serial abuser and should be held accountable for his actions.”

Fegan, who previously represented alleged victims of director Harvey Weinstein, added, “It is becoming increasingly common for perpetrators to countersue their victims, claiming defamation. This is a concerning trend, one designed to convince victims that if they speak out, they will be the target of spurious litigation.”

In his own statement, Allen said: “As the son and brother of rape victims, and the father of daughters, these false claims are extremely hurtful to me and everyone around me. These false allegations have caused me to lose a vast number of business and endorsement opportunities that I worked extremely hard for. These false allegations have also not only harmed me, but have caused severe financial damage to my band, my team, and their families.”

In between the lawsuits, Allen has teased new music and recently revealed a comedy tour in 2023. “I Said What I Said, and I’m gonna say it again during my three-night comedy tour coming this October,” wrote Allen in the caption of a post that has since been deleted.
