Taylor Swift may never walk Cornelia Street again—but you still can, Swifties.

First, let’s brush up on our T-Swift lore. Produced with Jack Antonoff, “Cornelia Street” is a fan favorite from the pop star’s 2019 album Lover. The song’s title references a street in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City, where Swift once rented a townhouse.
One of the more personal tracks on Swift’s seventh studio album, “Cornelia Street” captures the anxieties of a budding romance: And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends / I’d never walk Cornelia Street again / That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never mend / I’d never walk Cornelia Street again.
Those lyrics are widely believed to be about the “Karma” singer’s ex, British actor Joe Alwyn. Which means, sadly, that it did end. Swift and Alwyn confirmed their split in April 2023, after six and a half years together.

However, now that Swift has moved on with All-Pro boyfriend Travis Kelce, that house on Cornelia Street can be yours.
See Inside Taylor Swift’s Former Cornelia Street Townhome
Converted from a carriage house, the 21-foot-wide brownstone that Taylor Swift once called home boasts double-height ceilings, hardwood floors and even an indoor pool.
The four-bedroom, seven-bathroom apartment is “just as romantic, moody, and magical as the lyrics made it sound,” according to the New York City Dreamscapes Instagram account.
Swift reportedly sold the townhome for $12 million at 23 Cornelia Street back in 2023, listing it with Laurence Carty, Irene Lo, and Jennifer Rahilly of Corcoran Group. Two years later, this piece of folklore is apparently available for rent again—for about $50,000 a month.
Why Some Swifties Believe Joe Alwyn Supported His Ex’s Latest Career Move
Taylor Swift has been busy since announcing her split from Joe Alwyn. Aside from launching a new romance with three-time Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce, she grossed more than $1 billion with her record-breaking Eras Tour. Oh yeah, and she bought back the master recordings to her first six albums after a lengthy battle.
In light of this latest news, some fans are pointing to an Instagram post Alwyn made back in March as proof that he is silently supporting the “Anti-Hero” star’s big move. The Kinds of Kindness star shared a picture of a four-leaf clover. Two months later, Swift announced she had purchased the rights to her music from Shamrock Holdings, a Los Angeles-based investment firm.
Admittedly, this seems like a bit of a stretch. As one TikTok user said, “Or hear me out, Joe Alwyn knew it was St. Patrick’s Day.”
