Lindsey Stirling Performed During Green Bay Halftime, But Fans Were Left Disappointed by the Broadcast

Violinist, songwriter, and dancer Lindsey Stirling electrified the crowd during the Packers-Dolphins halftime show, wowing gathered football fans as she took the field for a unique showcase.

Stirling isn’t just any run-of-the-mill violinist, however. She plays an electric violin, dances, and does aerial stunts as well, working many different art forms into her live performances. Her musical stylings span pop, electronic, hip-hop, and classical influences. In short, Lindsey Stirling knows how to put on a show, and she proved that during the Thanksgiving game. If you missed her at the halftime show, she’s currently on her Snow Waltz Christmas Tour.

Stirling took the field in a red sparkling outfit to perform holiday classics on violin, backed by dancers as it began to snow in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Many of Stirling’s fans, however, were disappointed that NBC only showed a few seconds of her performance. “Shame on you for not showing Lindsey Stirling’s performance during halftime! That was the only reason I watched this evening! So disappointing!” one person wrote on Twitter.

Another wrote, “are you flipping kidding me?? Y’all show 3 seconds of the Lindsey Stirling halftime show?? Both other games showed entire thing. What a damn joke you are!!!”

Lindsey Stirling Joins Shaboozey and Lainey Wilson as Entertainment Across Three Thanksgiving Games

In addition to Lindsey Stirling at the Packers-Dolphins game, Lainey Wilson took the stage during the Giants-Cowboys game, performing a few of her biggest hits from her recent album, which dropped this summer. Notably, Wilson’s show was the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kick Off, as she partnered with the Salvation Army to raise funds and spread holiday cheer.

In the announcement of her involvement, she showed up with the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders in a social media video. She attempted a high kick in her bell bottoms with the cheerleaders after addressing the halftime show. “I am so excited to announce that I have teamed up with the Salvation Army to love beyond the holidays and make a difference in our communities all year round.”

Shaboozey also previously shared his excitement about being involved with the halftime show. He performed during the Bears-Lions game. “Thanksgiving football is an iconic tradition in this country, and I’m hyped to be a part of it this year,” he said, per Billboard. “The Detroit Lions season has been pretty epic so far, and I’m excited to tap into that crazy energy their fans bring to Ford Field. I can’t wait for America to see the show we’ve been working on for y’all.”
