The voice behind classic songs like โBaby, I Love Your Voiceโ, โShow Me the Wayโ, and โIโm In Youโ, Peter Frampton spent nearly six decades in the music industry. And outside of his own career, he received the chance to work alongside greats like David Bowie, Pearl Jam, Ringo Starr, and John Entwistle. Gaining the second most votes from fans, Frampton offered a heartfelt speech about his career and the success that followed him with each passing decade at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Before discussing his career, Frampton decided to showcase his musical talents when he performed โBaby (Somethingโs Happening).โ He wasnโt alone as Keith Urban joined him when they covered โDo You Feel Like We Do?โ Have been part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the past, this time – the lights focused on him. Mesmerized by the love and respect shown to him, the musician said, โKindness is key. … Thank you so much to the Rock Hall for this incredible honor. It’s something beyond all my dreams…and I share it with all of you that have been with me on this beautiful journey, especially you my fans, who have brought me here tonight.”

Peter Frampton Struggles From Inclusion Body Myositis
While 74 years old, Frampton continues to tour the country. Spending a great deal of time on the road, he admitted that he struggles with Inclusion Body Myositis, which often affects a personโs muscles. Still, Frampton explained how he does the best he can to move forward.ย
Having discussed his illness in the past, Frampton said, โI have adapted, and I really enjoyed playing on this tour. It might not be as many notes, but every note has a lot of soul in it, it has a lot of heart in it, because I know deep down that one day Iโll be playing my last note. So I treasure every note I can play right now.”
As for fans, they gushed over the induction of Frampton, writing, โI’ve been supporting this nomination for a long time now. Way over due but finally his time has came. Congratulations..โ Another comment read, โ3 words….ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!! From his time with Humble Pie to now, a very underrated musical legend. CONGRATS PETER!!!!โ
