Vince Neil‘s plane was involved in a tragedy. The Mötley Crüe frontman’s jet veered off the runway after landing and crashing into another plane at Scottsdale Municipal Airport on the afternoon of Feb. 10.

Neil was not aboard the plane at the time of the crash, his law firm said in a statement, which was posted to X.
“Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today,” the statement read in part.
Five people were involved in the accident, Scottsdale Fire Captain Dave Folio said in a press conference.
One person was dead on arrival. Meanwhile, two other people are in critical condition. The fourth person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The fifth person refused treatment, the local ABC affiliate reported.
Per the outlet, that officials believe the landing jet’s left main gear failed upon landing, which led to the crash.
One of the planes is registered to Chromed in Hollywood, LLC, which is based out of Franklin, Tennessee. Neil is the LLC’s president, the outlet reported.
Officials Speak Out After Plane Owned by Vince Neil Crashes
The other plane is owned by Jet Pros, LLC, which is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“On behalf of Jet Pros, LLC we are saddened to hear about the lives lost and injured today, Monday, February 10 at Scottsdale Airport,” Jet Pros Director of Operations Gus Toulatos told the local NBC affiliate. “Our condolences go out to the family members of those affected by this terrible accident.”
Toulatos also provided more details about the crash, stating, “Our plane, a Gulfstream G-200 business jet was parked on the ramp when it was hit by a LearJet 35 at around 2:45 PM local time. There were no injuries on board the Gulfstream, but external damages were sustained to the aircraft.”
“We are cooperating fully with airport authorities and relevant agencies as they conduct a thorough review of the situation,” he added. “We appreciate the swift response of airport personnel and will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky addressed the incident in a statement to the first outlet.
“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment. We will keep all affected by this tragedy in our prayers,” she said in part. “I would also like to thank our first responder community for their quick action and service in this situation.”
Flights at the airport have been paused in the wake of the crash.
