The End is Nero for Queens of the Stone Age, or so says their upcoming tour of the same name.

The Seattle-formed rock band will soon embark on a lengthy North American tour in support of their forthcoming release In Times New Roman. After a summer of playing festivals across Europe, the band will crisscross the United States and Canada beginning in August and bringing their extensive trek to a close in October. Acts like Phantogram, The Armed, Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth will join as support along the way.
According to a press release, The End Is Nero Tour is an invitation from the band “to come celebrate the end of the world, which we hear is ‘in a month or two.’ They would like to encourage the obscene and the clean, the outcasts and the weirdos, and anyone and everyone in between to attend, this is where you belong. Leave your judgment at the door, bring anything and everything else.”
Tickets go on-sale Friday (June 9) at 10 a.m. local time. In Times New Roman is set for release on June 16.
