Taylor Swift fever began sweeping the world last year when the “Anti-Hero” pop star kicked off her “Eras” Tour. A three-hour extravaganza with a setlist spanning Swift’s entire 18-year career, “Eras” needed just nine months to become the highest-grossing music tour in history. Swift is still going strong, with plans to wrap up the tour this December. On Tuesday (Aug. 20), the 14-time GRAMMY winner concluded the European leg of “Eras” by notching yet another record.

Taylor Swift Thanks Wembley Stadium Crowd
Taylor Swift said, “So Long, London,” when she played her eighth show at Wembley Stadium. With the Tuesday (Aug. 20) concert, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker overtakes Michael Jackson for most nights played at Wembley. The King of Pop played five shows at the venue in July 1988 as part of his Bad Tour.
“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour,” Swift told the crowd. “We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.”
Swift also tied the record for the most single-tour shows at Wembley Stadium by any artist. British pop stars Take That played England’s national football stadium eight times during their 2011 tour.
“So Long, London:” Final Wembley Stadium Tour Full of Surprises
Taylor Swift answered a long-burning question during the “Eras” Tour’s London finale. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, “What is the release date for Reputation (Taylor’s Version?)“

The iconic singer-songwriter pulled back the curtain on one of the tour’s most confounding mysteries: How does she get onstage? Because nothing gets past Swifties, fans have previously speculated that the 34-year-old pop star was using a cleaning supply cart to secretly enter the arena.
Swift confirmed that theory when she surprised fans by premiering the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” music video after leaving Wembley Stadium. The project shows intimate behind-the-scenes footage from the “Eras” tour—including the “Fortnight” singer being transported in a cleaning cart.
On social media, some fans expressed surprise to see Swift sitting, rather than standing, in the cleaning cart. “why did i think taylor swift was just standing in the cleaning cart like a tall sparkly blonde horse being transported,” one Swiftie wondered on X/Twitter.
