Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty turns the big 8-0 on May 28, and he’s planning to celebrate his milestone birthday with a special concert. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will perform that evening at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

A message announcing the show was posted on Fogerty’s social media pages.
The note reads, “We’re throwing an unforgettable birthday bash at the iconic Beacon Theatre on John’s actual 80th birthday on May 28th! It’s a very exclusive event so limited tickets will be available. … Don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic night. Let’s make it a party to remember!”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m. ET. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting this Wednesday, April 4, at 10 a.m. ET.
It’s not known if any special guests will participate in the concert. The Beacon Theatre show is part of Fogerty’s ongoing 2025 Celebration Tour, which focuses mainly on his classic CCR material.
Fogerty’s Other Upcoming 2025 Tour Plans
Prior to his 80th birthday show, Fogerty will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 24.
John has six other confirmed concerts on his 2025 itinerary including five performances in Europe in late June.
Those shows will take place June 20 at the Azkena Rock Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain; June 23 in Amsterdam; June 25 in Antwerp, Belgium; June 26 in Paris; and June 28 at the famed Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, U.K. Headlining Glastonbury on the same day Fogerty will be performing is Neil Young and his current backing band, The Chrome Hearts.
Fogerty also will play a July 6 concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Fogerty’s current backing band features his sons Shane and Tyler.
