Although dabbling in several different genres throughout his career, Jelly Roll found his home in country music. Thanks to songs like “Need a Favor” and “Save Me”, the singer watched as he took over country music and dominated the airwaves. Always willing to go the extra mile for his fans or share hilarious stories from his past, the singer continues to expand his career. And recently when performing in Texas, Jelly Roll decided he needed a little help when performing “Simple Man.”

Taking the stage in Austin, Texas, Jelly Roll walked out to a sea of screaming fans. Thrilled to watch the country singer perform live, those in attendance received a special treat when the star welcomed comedian Tony Hinchcliffe to the stage. Known for his Kill Tony podcast, the comedian fashioned a career roasting fellow comedians and celebrities. He most recently caused a stir when he talked during a rally for former President Donald Trump.
Deciding to not talk politics, Hinchcliffe embraced the country lifestyle as he walked out in full cowboy attire. And he even shared his dream of becoming Musical Artist of the Year. He told Jelly Roll, “I wanna be best New Musical Artist of the Year and give a big fancy acceptance speech like you one day.”
Fans Can’t Get Over Collaboration Between Jelly Roll And Tony Hinchcliffe
Although Hinchcliffe will need to release a few albums before he starts winning awards, the comedian does have a musical side. Jumping on the drums to help perform “Simple Man”, Jelly Roll was shocked when the comedian didn’t miss a beat. He insisted, “You can actually play.”
Gaining thousands of comments, fans loved watching Jelly Roll and Hinchcliffe on stage together. “Tony on the drums was not on my Bingo Card for 2024. He freaking killed it.” Another comment included, “Tony’s energy is unmatched. The way he effortlessly switches from comedy to music is pure talent. Can’t wait to see what he does next.”
As for Jelly Roll, he continues to travel the country with his Beautifully Broken tour which has the singer performing until August 2025.
