Set for release on November 7, World Within a Song finds Tweedy examining music’s importance and impact on listeners through the decades. The 55-year-old singer/songwriter will embark on his newly-announced book tour to support the release, beginning with a stop in Chicago on November 5.

Actor and comedian Nick Offerman, musician Nathan Salsburg, and journalist Amanda Petrusich are among the special guests scheduled to appear on select tour dates.

Tweedy’s book release and accompanying tour will be preceded by Wilco’s 13th studio album, Cousin, due September 29. Earlier this month, the band dropped their lead single, “Evicted,” a melancholy reflection on a past relationship.

Outside of Tweedy’s speaking engagements, fans can catch the influential singer and guitarist out on the road with Wilco through the end of the year. Fans can see a complete list of the band’s upcoming tour dates, which includes an extensive U.S. run, at Wilco’s official website.
