Peanut butter and jelly; bacon and eggs; Adam Levine and Blake Shelton—some things just go together. The two formed an endlessly watchable bromance during their time together as coaches on NBC’s The Voice. Although the “God’s Country” singer, 49, exited the show in 2023 after 23 seasons, Levine, 46, couldn’t keep Shelton’s name out of his mouth during the Maroon 5 frontman’s highly anticipated return in season 27. The pair seemingly show their love by pulling pranks and slinging insults, with Levine recently recalling one of the former.

Blake Shelton Offered To Help Adam Levine Find a Teacup Pig for His Wife
When Adam Levine began dating now-wife Behati Prinsloo, the “Moves Like Jagger” crooner enlisted Blake Shelton’s help to impress her. The Namibian Victoria’s Secret model told Levine she wanted a teacup pig, so the Grammy winner turned to “the first person I would ask.” For context, Shelton lives with his family on an Oklahoma farm.
“I’m like, ‘What’s a teacup pig?’” Levine recalled during a recent Hot Ones appearance. “He’s like, ‘I’ll get you a teacup pig. Yeah, give me five grand.’”
Of course, Levine forked over the money, but the pig didn’t last long in their household. “Please don’t get a pig,” said the “Sugar” singer. “They scream and squeal if you don’t pay attention to them. They scream and squeal if you do. Probably lasted, like, three weeks, and then we were like, ‘We can’t live with this pig anymore.’”
So the couple gifted the pig to “a little girl on a farm.” Roughly six months later, she sent them a picture of the now 400-lb. animal. When Levine checked back with Shelton, The Voice champ then realized he’d been had.
Slipping into a surprisingly spot-on impression of the “Ol’ Red” singer, Levine said, “He’s like, ‘You’re an idiot… there’s no such thing as f—ing teacup pigs, you dumbass.”
And in case you’re wondering, he did not get his money back.
Will Either Ever Return to ‘The Voice?’
Longtime fans of NBC’s The Voice would love nothing more than to see Adam Levine and Blake Shelton reunited onstage.
Unfortunately, Shelton has been pretty adamant about his retirement, and Levine is sitting the next season out after his brief return this year. Both are seemingly focused on new music at the moment.
