Formed during the early 2000s, the Zac Brown Band quickly solidified itself as a top group in country music thanks to their rigorous touring schedule. Not afraid to put in the work, the band once fit 200 performances in a single year. And throughout that time, the Zac Brown Band released a total of seven studio albums. Their last, The Comeback, hit shelves in 2021. While fans anxiously awaited the group to release new music, many were left shocked when the band wiped their Instagram page, leaving them with nothing but a cryptic “thank you” message.

Although the Zac Brown Band seemed removed from the studio over the last four years, they continued to perform. Just last year, the group hit the road with Kenny Chesney for the Sun Goes Down Tour. But on July 8th, fans wondered exactly what happened when the band completely scrubbed their Instagram page.
Posting one last time, the Zac Brown Band revealed a video showing some highlights from their time on tour. The caption read, “There’s no way to sum up what the last chapter has meant to us… We’ve played thousands of shows, crossed countless state lines, and seen every kind of weather and welcome you could imagine. Whether you saw us when we were playing covers in Georgia dive bars or you just found us on your drive home last month… You’ve been a part of this journey. You’ve sung the words, screamed the choruses, cried with us, danced with us, and let this music into your life. That kind of connection is not lost on us. It never will be.”
Zac Brown Band Not Saying Goodbye But “Thank You”
Offering fans both new and old a thank you for supporting the band’s dreams over the years, the Zac Brown Band never forgot a single handshake. “From every hand we shook, every sign we saw in the crowd, every voice lifted back to us from the front row to the lawn, we felt your love. And we gave it right back, night after night. This isn’t goodbye. It’s a thank you. A reflection.”
With fans commenting on the video, remembering seeing the band perform live, and the memories they made, the group’s conclusion left them with hope. “The next chapter? It’s the biggest one yet. We’ll see you there.”
As for what that next chapter might look like? Only the members of the Zac Brown Band know. But one thing is for certain – when they hit the stage again, fans will be there to celebrate a new chapter in the band’s legacy.
