While once posting montage videos of himself playing Fortnite on YouTube, D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, took the advice of his mother and started sharing his own music. That single moment helped kickstart his career as he recorded songs like “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide.” Going viral on TikTok, the singer followed those songs with his extended play Petals to Thorns. And with his debut album, Withered, expected to hit shelves in a few weeks, the singer took the stage at Coachella. But instead of it being a milestone for the singer, D4vd had a little mishap when he tried to do a backflip.

For any singer, getting a chance to perform at Coachella is a massive achievement. While known for offering music lovers the ultimate experiences, countless people travel to the desert to watch their favorite performers take the stage. At the 2025 Coachella, Post Malone and even Lady Gaga already produced mesmerizing sets.

Wanting to add his name to the list of powerful performances, D4vd was working the crowd, who were loving every second, when he decided to do a backflip. The only problem, he appeared to misjudge the jump and his own abilities. Once in the air, it was clear that gravity wasn’t on his side as he came crashing down on his head. From the video, it seemed that D4vd knew how to perform the trick, the only problem – his foot slipped as he was jumping.

Fans Joked About D4vd Slamming To The Ground At Coachella
Besides the cameraman gasping as D4vd slammed to the floor, the singer simply laughed the moment off as he continued to perform.
Online, fans had a little fun with the moment as comments read, “Unfortunately, that’s a career ending move right there.” Another person added, “Bro thought he speed for a sec, that was funny tho ngl.” The comments continued to stack up. “D4vd went for a flip and ended up giving us Coachella comedy gold. Ouch—gravity had other plans! Hope you bounced back, legend.”
Although a hilarious moment for D4vd and fans, the singer didn’t let the fall stop him from continuing his set. And when it comes to the future, don’t miss his debut album Withered, releasing on April 25th.
