Quickly becoming a big name in country music, Jelly Roll used his stardom to collaborate with stars like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dustin Lynch, Lainey Wilson, and even Post Malone. Expanding his career with his 2024 album, Beautifully Broken, he seemed busy throughout 2025, traveling the country alongside Malone with the Big A** Stadium tour. But still finding time to get in the studio, he recently released the newest song “Holy Water”, which had him working with Marshmello.

Having dabbled in country music in the past, working with Kane Brown, Marshmello returned to the genre thanks to “Holy Water.” Loving what he produced with Jelly Roll, the Grammy-nominated artist admitted, “This is one of the most emotional songs I’ve ever released. It’s about losing a loved one. Unfortunately, a lot of us can relate to that. When I showed the initial idea to Jelly Roll and told him the story, he loved it.”
With Jelly Roll never afraid to share his emotions with fans, Marshmellow enjoyed being able to tap into those feelings. “He’s an open book, and it was really great to see how it resonated. It inspired me to go in even more on the production and get creative with the country elements. He definitely brought it home to where it is now.”

Just getting the craziest collabs. Snoop Dogg, Brandon Lake, Eminem, Marshmello. Who’s next?” Other comments included, “‘Smiling while i bite through the pain’ THIS COULDN’T have come at a more appropriate time. Thank you so much for giving me something to hold onto.”
Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, Jelly Roll prepared to head to the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival in September. Adding his name to the lineup, the festival also promoted Ed Sheeran, Lil Wayne, LL Cool J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, and Sammy Hagar.
While bringing a wide variety of artists to the massive event, Jelly Roll won’t be the only country singer as Tim McGraw will also perform.
