How to Watch: Lollapalooza 2023 Live and Free

When Lollapalooza debuted in Chicago in 1991, festival founder Perry Farrell was just parting ways with his band Jane’s Addiction, and Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ice-T, Fishbone, Nine Inch Nails, Henry Rollins Bands, Butthole Surfers, and Violent Femmes were the main (and only) acts.

Now, more than 30 years later, Lollapalooza is stronger than ever and held in seven countries, welcoming 100,000 fans daily, in Chicago, alone.

Kicking off on Thursday (Aug. 3) Lollapalooza 2023 will take over Grant Park in Chicago for four days of live music, including headliners Billie Eilish, Karol G, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Odesza, and K-Pop group Tomorrow X Together.

Additional artists filling the lineup and performing across eight different stages include Carly Rae Jepsen, Pusha T, Magdalena Bay, Beabadoobee, Fred Again, Rina Sawayama, Maggie Rogers, Joey Bada$$, Lil Yachty, Sylvan Esso, Alex G, and Sudan Archives, among others.

Following suit from 2022, Lollapalooza 2023 will stream live on Hulu, Aug. 3-6.

Though nearly 170 artists will perform at the annual festival, viewers will only be able to watch a select group of the acts via stream over the weekend.
