Back in 2008, Oasis released what would be considered their last studio album Dig Out Your Soul. Unknown to fans at the time, in 2009, the band decided to part ways when Noel Gallagher suddenly left. While both Liam Gallagher and Noel produced promising solo careers, fans of Oasis wanted the band to get back together. But the dreams of a reunion eventually fell quiet as the years passed. Now, both Liam and Noel are back with the Oasis Live ‘25 Tour. And with tickets quickly disappearing, Noel recently opened up about the chaos surrounding the tickets and how they hoped to stop resellers.

Knowing how massive the moment was to fans, Noel and Liam worked with the platform Twickets to help stop people from buying tickets only to resell them at a much higher price. The band even stated that any ticket sold on sites for a profit would be canceled. And when the sale went public, some cared little for the warning as around 50,000 tickets landed on resale sites.
Watching scalpers try to use the legacy of Oasis to make a profit, the band fired back, writing on social media, “We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via Ticketmaster and Twickets.” And in February, thousands of tickets were abruptly canceled. While some fans suggested their tickets were wrongfully canceled, Noel explained how shocked he was by the ticket sales.
Although knowing the popularity of Oasis, Noel had no idea how massive the band had become. He said, “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”
Noel Gallagher Names His Favorite Songs From Oasis
Having produced more than a few hit songs in Oasis, Noel even shared a few of his favorites, stating, “Can I have more than one? ‘Supersonic’, ‘Some Might Say’, ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Rock’n’Roll Star.” But not all songs were great as he once pointed to his least favorite. “Heathen Chemistry’ had a couple of good tunes: ‘Little By Little’ and ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, the rest of it is a bit ‘meh’. ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ is pretty good, ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ kind of tails off towards the end. They’re all flawed in some way.”
