Last night, Taylor Swift held a special premiere of the Eras Tour concert film. The crowd at the event included thousands of lucky Swifties as well as several celebrity guests. Swift was even able to hang with Beyoncé before and during the premiere. However, in a heartfelt speech, she revealed what made the night, and the tour, special for her: the fans.

Seeing the Eras Tour movie before the rest of the world was huge for many in the audience. Swift took a moment before the screening began to let everyone know how excited she was to be at The Globe in Los Angeles with all of them. Additionally, she showed her gratitude for those who help her live her dream during the heartfelt speech.
First, Swift let the audience know where she would be during the screening. “You’re stuck with me, ‘cause I’m going to sit with you and watch this thing,” she said as the crowd cheered. “Before we do that, I wanted to say ‘Thank you’ for wanting to spend your evening with us,” she added.
Swift went on to say that she has always had fun making music for her fans. Making music her career, she said is “crazy” to her. She truly has her dream job. However, the Eras Tour was the icing on the cake. “I’ve never had a fraction of the amount of fun I had on the Eras Tour before. Ever.”
She went on to explain what made the tour so special for her and her fellow performers. “Regardless of what was going on in our lives, we pranced on that stage grinning because of what met us on the other side. That was you,” she told the crowd.
As a result, she added, the fans are the “main characters” in the Eras Tour movie. “That’s what made the tour magical. That’s what made it different than anything I’ve ever done in my life. It was your attention to detail, your preparation, your passion, your intensity. Like, you cared so much about these shows and that made all the difference for us.”
