Despite belonging to different genres, Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen are constantly battling it out for accolades. The 14-time Grammy Award winner and the “I Had Some Help” hitmaker were arguably the two biggest musical names of 2024. And it appears that trend is set to continue in 2025. The pair lead the pack among this year iHeartRadio Award nominees.
Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen Score 10 Nods Apiece
The iHeartRadio Awards will honor the year’s most-played artists live from Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on March 17 at 8 p.m. Eastern on FOX. And with 10 nominations each, Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen will go head-to-head in several categories.

Both Swift, 35, and Wallen, 31, scored nods for Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration. Each “had some help” from Post Malone in the latter category.
The two superstars will also meet in the following fan-voted categories: Favorite Surprise Guest, Favorite Tour Tradition, Best Lyrics, and Best Music Video. Swift actually has two bites at the “Favorite Tour Tradition” apple. The “Anti-Hero” singer is nominated for her “surprise songs” on the “Eras” Tour, as well as the “22” hat.
Swift is also the recipient of the inaugural Tour of the Century award for her billion-dollar “Eras” Tour.
Swift made history at the 2024 Grammy Awards when she took home a record-breaking fourth Album of the Year trophy for 2022’s Midnights. That same night, she announced her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which broke even more records when it dropped in April. In December, the “Bad Blood” star concluded an unprecedented 21-month run on the “Eras” Tour.
Wallen also set a record on the road when his One Night At A Time World Tour became the highest-grossing country tour of all time. Additionally, the “Wasted On You” hitmaker ended 2024 on a high note at November’s CMA Awards, winning his first-ever Entertainer of the Year award.

Lest you mistake this year’s iHeartRadio Awards for “The Swift and Wallen Show,” several other artists also have a big night in store. Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone are right on the dynamic duo’s heels with nine nominations each.
Lady Gaga will also receive the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award, which honors an artist’s impact on music and culture. Five-time Grammy winner Mariah Carey has been tapped for the iHeartRadio Icon Award.
