At 10 a.m. local time on Thursday (August 31), Travis Scott launched the ticket sales for his North American Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour. Including 28 dates starting on October 11 in Charlotte and ending on December 29 in Toronto, the tour sold out almost instantly. Because of this, the Texan rapper decided to give fans nationwide even more opportunities to see him live.

Scott wasted no time in adding 11 new dates to the Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour, which will see him stay an extra night in Raleigh, Dallas, Phoenix, Oakland, Portland, Austin, Miami, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, and Toronto. Tickets for these new stops were made available at 10 a.m. local time today (September 1), though the tour will still begin and end on the same dates.
According to a press release, a $2 donation will made to Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation for every ticket sold. The organization’s mission is “to uplift Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.”
Oddly enough, though, Scott will not be making a stop in his hometown of Houston, instead electing to visit Austin and Dallas. This decision likely stems from the backlash he received from the Houston community after his 2021 Astroworld Festival ended disastrously, with 10 attendees dying in a crowd surge.

When reports first surfaced that Scott was planning a Houston show for the Utopia – Circus Maximus Tour, Houston Police Department union president Douglas Griffith issued a statement on behalf of HPD, urging city officials to prevent a potential concert.
“This is outrageous and the HPOU will be calling for all of our elected officials to stand up and say, ‘Not in our city, not again!’” Griffith said in a statement.
Regardless of pushback, Scott still seems to have received permission to perform in many other cities across the U.S., as he was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in the Astroworld case. And, less than two months away from the start of the tour, tickets being sold out this quickly can only mean one thing: Fans can’t wait to see Scott live.
