Continuing her rock and roll kick, Lady Gaga joined U2 on stage for three songs during the band’s UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere show in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday (October 25). Gaga first joined the band on Rattle and Hum track “All I Want Is You” before breaking into a duet of her 2018 A Star Is Born hit “Shallow,”and closing on U2’s The Joshua Tree hit “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

“This next song I tried to write from a woman’s point of view, sing it from a woman’s point of view, as absurd as that sounds, that was the secret I kept,” Bono told the audience before moving into “All I Want Is You.”

Bono added, “I’ve sung it to women, but I’ve never sung it with a woman. We’re going to do just that tonight. Not just any woman—the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she’s ever in. Will you welcome to our turntable, the divine, the divinal Lady Gaga.”

U2 kicked off the residency at the Sphere on September 29 and recently extended their run of shows through February 2024.

Gaga’s Sphere performance marked the second time she’s joined U2 on stage. In 2015, Gaga made a surprise appearance during the band’s Innocence + Experience Tour for duet on their song “Ordinary Love.” The Oscar-nominated song was featured in the 2013 film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and was also released on the deluxe edition of the band’s 2017 album Songs of Experience.

Prior to her U2 guest spot on Wednesday, Gaga recently joined the Rolling Stones onstage during a surprise concert in New York City celebrating the band’s 26th album Hackney Diamonds. Gaga and Stevie Wonder are featured on the Hackney Diamonds track “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.”

She is set to star as DC Comics character Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker in the Todd Phillips-directed Joker: Folie à Deux in 2024.
