Starting her career on the Disney Channel, Olivia Rodrigo eventually transitioned from the silver screen to the music studio. Back in 2021, she released her first studio album Sour. And just two years later, she released her latest album Guts. Gaining praise from fans and winning numerous awards, Rodrigo continues to expand her stardom. But recently, the singer traveled to Melbourne, Australia as part of her Guts World Tour. And while thrilled to share her music with fans, Rodrigo accidentally fell through the stage, leaving many worried.

Embracing the show must go on mentality, Rodrigo was performing when she ran to the end of the stage to pump up the crowd. But when making her way back to the center, she never noticed part of the floor was lowered. Falling into the hole, the singer thankfully caught herself and quickly played it off. She said, “Oh my God that was fun! I’m okay. Sometimes there is just a hole in the stage.”
Although continuing with the concert, many shared how dangerous the moment was with comments reading, “Omg? that could’ve hurt I hope she is okay… the stage team really should take care of such things.” Another person wrote, “Broken ribs, spine cracked and still maintaining professionalism.”

Olivia Rodrigo Writing New Songs
Outside of falling through stages, Rodrigo revealed she has been writing new songs when speaking with Billboard. Although on the road, she insisted, “Writing songs is really therapeutic for me, so I’m always noodling around making stuff even when I’m not in the studio making an album.” With Rodrigo always writing, she shared some insight on what she will do following her tour. “I’m definitely going to take a little vacation after this tour though! I’m trying not to put too much pressure on anything right now.”
With Rodrigo helming her first tour, it appears the singer promised there was one thing she would do differently. “The only thing I can think to do differently next time is to not overpack. My luggage is bursting at the seams!” But for now, the hitmaker heads to Sydney where she will continue her Guts World Tour.
