Jonas has continued to flush out his solo pursuit with “Heart By Heart,” a stunning mid-tempo track about the familiarity of people in love. Jonas makes use of the retro sound he and his brothers have leaned towards over the last several years, delivering something insatiably catchy. The guitar-led melody is tailor-made for warmer weather. We’re sure many fans will add this blushing track to their playlists come summertime.

“Mystical Magical” (Benson Boone)
Premiered at Coachella, Benson Boone’s “New Music Friday” offering, “Mystical Magical”, sees the rising star with one foot in the past and one in the present. He borrows elements from retro rock groups while adding in a tempo that feels right at home with radio play today. It’s hard to shake this anthem once you’ve heard it. Particularly, the second verse has something hypnotizing laced in it. This Boone track isn’t a one and done. You’ll wear out the “replay” button.

“What Was That” (Lorde)
As pop queen Charli XCX recently said on stage, it’s gearing up to be a “Lorde summer.” The alt-pop maven has returned on “New Music Friday” with “What Was That,” a charmingly eccentric dance number. While her fans need no enticement to run to her newly released music, this song will play well even with audiences who don’t listen to Lorde often.
