Fever Ray Announces European Dates for 2024 Tour

In addition to adding several new dates to their current world tour, Fever Ray has released a new remix of their song “Carbon Dioxide” with DJ Avalon Emerson. “Carbon Dioxide” was featured on Fever Ray’s third studio album, Radical Romantics, which was released on March 10. Fever Ray is the alias and current musical project of Swedish musician Karin Dreijer, who is also known as one-half of the electronic music duo The Knife.

Avalon Emerson’s remix of “Carbon Dioxide” turns Fever Ray‘s moody, experimental song into more of an exciting dance track. The remix was released through Rabid Records.

According to Pitchfork, Dreijer released a statement regarding the new remix. “I’m very happy for this one! It has fruitiness, a bit of extra everything, exactly what the song wanted,” Dreijer wrote. “We started sending stuff back and forth early on and some of my first vocal recordings ended up in there as well. Hope you’ll enjoy it!”

Fever Ray has added nine new dates for their There’s No Place I’d Rather Be 2024 Tour. The first newly scheduled concert will take place at Train in Aarhus, Denmark on February 23. The 2024 tour will then travel to Paris, Amsterdam, London, and other major cities before concluding with a show at Theater Des Westens in Berlin on March 6.

Fever Ray began their initial world tour on August 17 with a set at the Paredes de Coura Festival in Praia do Taboão, Portugal. Fever Ray will play shows in Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, and a few more major U.S. cities this November. Drag performer Christeene serves as the opening act for all of Fever Ray’s U.S. shows.
