Last week The Voice kicked off the Playoffs, where the competition heats up and narrows down as more contestants are eliminated and the rest move forward to the Live Semi-Finals. Tonight, November 25, marks night two of the Playoffs. The Voice airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming on Peacock the next day.

Previously, Machine Gun Kelly appeared on the show as an advisor for Gwen Stefani’s team. He shared ahead of time that he still feels “like so much of a student,” but was still excited to step into his mentoring shoes, adding, “So it’s hard to be in this role, but hopefully I added something.”
Additionally, Snoop Dogg let his vulnerable side show when he had to make a Knockout Round decision. The legendary rapper broke down when he had to choose who to send home on his team. Mikaela Ayira, Torre Blake, and ChrisDeo performed during their Knockouts on Monday night’s episode, and Snoop was overcome with emotion.
“I didn’t think I was gonna get this emotional. I love these three girls. Ya’ll made me proud,” he began, getting choked up. “I’m so torn right now because I can’t take all of ya’ll with me. I’m hurt. And I’m supposed to be strong right now. I’m supposed to make ya’ll strong. But this is how you affected me. I love each and every one of you.”

Yet Another Contestant Unexpectedly Drops Out of The Voice
There have been two shocking dropouts on The Voice in one week, as Mor Ilderton has now left the show. Ilderton follows country singer Tanner Frick, who also left the show last week with little to no explanation. Gwen Stefani offered some information to fans about Ilderton, but nothing substantial.
“We had Mor, who I stole, but he had to go home, so it’s just gonna be the two of them,” she told Sting, who was acting as Mega Mentor last week. Other than that one line, there has been no information on why Ilderton or Frick have left the show.
Tanner Frick was part of Michael Bublé’s team after being saved from elimination. He left the competition after Knockout rehearsals, and Bublé continued with just two contestants. However, Frick did drop a cryptic post on Instagram after his departure.
Frick posted a video of himself playing an unreleased song allegedly titled “Lonesome Road.” He captioned it “Ain’t nobody want me anyway,” which could be a reference to the song or a subtle dig at The Voice. At the moment, his reasons for leaving are still not clear, and any explanation is shrouded in speculation.
