SZA Brings Out Travis Scott on SOS Tour

SZA is currently in the midst of the European leg of her S.O.S. Tour, which accompanied her comeback December 2022 album that landed her No. 1 placements on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts. On Tuesday (June 13), she made her sixth stop on the Euro leg, playing a rocking show at AO Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Midway through her set, SZA brought out Travis Scott to assist her for part of the performance. Along with delivering a harmonious rendition of their 2017 hit “Love Galore,” which peaked at No. 32 on the Hot 100, SZA also kept Scott on stage with her as she sang “Low” from S.O.S., which Scott provided background vocals for on the studio recording and in Manchester.

In fact, this happened to be the second time this month SZA welcomed Scott to the stage, as she pulled off the exact same maneuver for her fans in Amsterdam on June 1.

Throughout the rest of the show Tuesday, though, Scott hung around backstage while SZA continued to serenade the attendees. Photos of him from backstage began to surface soon after, which showed the rapper wearing S.O.S. Tour merchandise, as well as being accompanied by a bodyguard holding the famed “Utopia” briefcase.

As Scott has been preparing his upcoming studio album Utopia, which could potentially release this month, he’s used the brown briefcase with the album’s name on it to signify that he is always fine-tuning the project. Although the track list and release date for Utopia have not yet been confirmed, reports suggest that superstars like The Weeknd and Bad Bunny could make feature appearances on the LP.

In the case of SZA, she still has five more shows in Europe before she heads back to the states for “round 2” of U.S. shows on the S.O.S. Tour. After visiting cities like Detroit, Oakland, and Atlanta for round 1 in February and March, SZA is slated to hit up Denver, Brooklyn, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and more in September and October.
