Acclaimed singer/songwriter Mitski is expanding her acoustic Amateur Mistake Tour. Today (September 5), she announced a short stint of North American dates set to kick off next week.

The last-minute additions to her touring schedule include stops in Mexico City, Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto. Her new set of concert dates comes ahead of a previously announced run of shows across Europe and the U.K. in October.
Tickets for Mitski’s newly announced performances will be available via a lottery, which began September 5 at 12 p.m. ET. Fans can sign up for a chance to buy tickets now through September 10 at 10:59 p.m. ET. Pre-sale invitations will be distributed beginning September 13. Any remaining tickets will be available in a general on-sale set to begin September 18.

Mitski will be hitting the road supporting her upcoming seventh studio album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, due September 15 via Dead Oceans.
Later this week, a limited run of “music and film double features” offering a preview of Mitski’s new record will be screened at theaters in select cities. Although she will not be in attendance during the special events, attendees will get to experience her latest batch of songs in a unique cinematic form.
In recent weeks, Mitski has shared three pre-release singles from The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, including “Bug Like an Angel,” “Star,” and “Heaven.”
