Jelly Roll, Wynonna Judd Among 2023 ‘People’s Choice Country Awards’ Performers

The full list of acts set to perform at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards has been revealed. Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Carly Pearce, and Kelsea Ballerini are among the country stars confirmed to perform.

Little Big Town, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, and HARDY will also take the Grand Ole Opry House stage in Nashville later this month. Toby Keith, who will be presented with the Country Music Icon Award by Blake Shelton, is also confirmed to perform. Also set to take the stage is Country Champion Award winner Wynonna Judd, who will be on hand to receive the honor for her philanthropy efforts through the years.

The fan-voted event is a country music-centered offshoot of the long-running People’s Choice Awards. Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, and Morgan Wallen are among this year’s top nominees. Among the eclectic mix of awards that are up for grabs include Social Country Artist of 2023, Crossover Song of 2023, and Concert Tour of 2023. Online voting for all categories took place in August and is now closed.

Additional details about the ceremony, including a list of presenters and additional honorary award recipients, are expected to be announced in the coming days.

The inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards will be hosted by Little Big Town at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on September 28. The ceremony will air on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on Peacock. Fans can also view a special pre-show livestream event, which includes red carpet arrivals, on all Peacock network social media pages.
